YOUR RECOMMENDATION

How this recommendation is calculated

The quiz is not a random generator — it applies the same decision rules we use across our buying guides, based on what stores have actually confirmed for Beast of Reincarnation:

  • Game Pass first. The game is a day-one Game Pass title with Xbox Play Anywhere support, so an active Ultimate subscription makes any purchase optional on Xbox and PC. PlayStation 5 has no Game Pass route, so that branch always resolves to a purchase.
  • Deluxe is cosmetic-weighted. The Deluxe package is dominated by appearance items plus an Amber head start. If you tell us bonuses do not matter, we never upsell you — Standard wins.
  • Physical is region-gated. A boxed PS5 release has been announced in Japan through Happinet, with a permanently included code for Deluxe-equivalent content. No physical edition has been announced for Europe or North America, so we only surface it when it is genuinely relevant.
  • Play Anywhere breaks ties. If you play on both a console and a PC, the Microsoft ecosystem is the only route that gives you both versions with shared saves for a single purchase.

Frequently asked questions

Does the Deluxe edition make the game easier?

Only marginally, and only at the very start. The Amber bonus speeds up early purchases and the bonus sword gives you an alternative weapon, but the game is built around parry timing rather than gear scaling, so it does not meaningfully lower the difficulty curve.

Can Game Pass players buy the Deluxe bonuses separately?

That is not yet confirmed. Game Pass includes the base game only; whether an upgrade or add-on pack appears on the Microsoft Store is something we will check and record on launch day.

Is pre-ordering worth it?

Pre-ordering adds the brown Shiba skin and 30,000 Amber on top of whatever edition you choose. Since the game is not discounted before release, pre-ordering costs nothing extra and adds two small bonuses — the only reason to wait is if you are undecided about the game itself.

Which edition do most players end up choosing?

Based on how this quiz resolves, the two most common outcomes are Game Pass (for anyone already subscribed with an Xbox or PC) and Standard (for PlayStation 5 players who are not chasing cosmetics). Deluxe is a genuine upgrade only for players who specifically want the Koo skins.
