Why Yui Ishikawa is a big deal
Yui Ishikawa is one of the most recognizable voices in Japanese games and anime: she is 2B in NieR:Automata and Mikasa Ackerman in Attack on Titan. Casting her as Emma signals how seriously Game Freak is treating the tone of its first AAA action RPG — a quiet, burdened protagonist far from the studio's Pokémon roots.
